I am sure everyone agrees with me that when your social calendar is full, every bits of events that happen is indeed red-letters. And of course, along the way I’ve gained few pounds and my body has become more rotund in comparison to the days of prior-teaching. Believe it or not, I am now weigh 54.2 kilograms and I am so happy! Before this, I only hear people and friends keep lamenting how bony, skinny and scrawny I am (not to mention during my banking days! Ayah kept criticizing me- that’s the way how he showed his love; through nagging and criticizing!); but now it’s all about me balloon up! I even got my stomach balloons and everyone notices that! Even Kakak was like surprised! Well, need to tone down that stomach- but the rest, I am enjoying my new weigh! Hahahah!
Anyway, straight to the point. During weekend went to Putrajaya. It was actually kinda awkward to not having Rifqi, my nephew around in the house. I kinda miss having him in Putrajaya because I am already accustomed to have that little angel barking and thumping my door waking me up early in the morning! But anyhow, on Friday night, watched the highly-acclaimed thriller starring Ryan Reynolds called “Buried.” It was a Spanish-made film consisting of its director and crews but to be able to rope in Reynolds as the bankable Hollywood star lead is just awesome. On whole, although the starting part of the movie was a bit draggy and “yawny”, but as it flows to the climax, the plot started to unravel and I have to give full compliments to the director for be able to make a one hour-and-a-half movie by using merely one actor and the same background throughout the film! Kudos! I give 3 stars outta 5 stars!
On Saturday night, had a familial get-away at Sepang Gold Coast; namely the Bagan Lalang’s “Bayu Malam.” Needless to say, the foods were amazing, the calamari/fried-with-flour squids were delicious (like usual!). Alhamdulillah!
The Forest Research Institute Malaysia or FRIM in Kepong has become my regular jogging spot. I simply love the Avatar-esque feeling of the lushes trees and waterfall. It is an ideal place to rejuvenate the systems as well as de-stressing place. I managed to climb the hill but only to discover that the canopy-walk on the almost-top-of-the-hill is only open early in the morning. Well unfortunately, I went there after school!
Above all, I am enjoying life immensely. Alhamdulillah for the bless!
