The number 24 FINALLY is officially etched in my ageing numerics! LOL, what the hell, anyway! Alhamdulillah, now that I’m already 24 years old, it’s a new beginning of new phase in my life. Pondering back my so-called resolution 1 year ago, I’ve yet to fulfilled ALL but kinda satisfied though that I’ve achieved some of them.
A this very juncture, I’ve secured a job (although not my forte as I’m targetting working with Government; still it’s a career resembles to what I’ve been dreaming all these years : working in a corporate atmosphere, mingling with aristocrats (so called la!) at the very heart of the hustle bustle cosmopolitan of KL. I perceived this career/job as a stepping stone of exposure for me to the corporate world. This far, i’m surrounded with GOOD and HELPFUL people ; my mentor, my Team Leader, my senior colleagues in my department are so patient and guide me literally in everything. I’m sure to miss them if I ever to leave the Bank one day.
Anyway, the fateful day 1st of June 2008 (Sunday)was quite a hectic day. Kakak, Abg Zam and me went back to Kedah for the weekend. Since our family was flooded with tonnes of wedding invitation on the 1st of June, we decided to commemorate my birthday tu malam Sabtu (AF pun dah abes, kan?!). Initially, we planned to dash to Jitra’s Secret Recipe but knowing Ayah with his conventional-impression of “eating-at-that-kinda-seemingly-luxurious place-will-be-waste-of-money”, we decided to ALL THE WAY to Kuala Perlis for seafoods!
Approximately an hour journey by car from Jitra, the place was congested with crowd thronging the restaurant! We practically have to wait around 90 minit (satu jam setengah!) to have all the menu ready! The patience was worthwhile nonetheless. Just name it : Ikan Bakar, Sotong Bakar, Udang Bakar, etc. It was REALLY nice=). Despite the busy schedule, esoknya pula Mak sempat masak Nasi Tomato for me; I’m feel kinda touched. Thanks Mak *sniff*. And yesterday, Kakak did the unexpected! She bought me a surprised cake! OMG! Thanks babe! I’m really touched by that and really appreciate that!!! Kakak and Abg Zam was like waiting for me to surprise me with the cake. Really, I didnt expect that! Thanks babe, very much (does that mean I’ve to buy you perfume again for your birthday? *smirk*).
On whole, I would like to thank all my friends who sent SMSes, messages (via Friendster, Myspace, Facebook & Tagged) and of course to my dear colleagues for the LOVELY CARD! I appreciate them, really =)
