Lately, I am leading a hectic life consisting of new and beautiful experiences. After the interview session with Prof Hatta and then get to be involved in the Hulu Selangor Mini Election, my next event in my social calendar is at Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Darulaman, Jitra, Kedah – the place where I got my introductory phase to the education world I am serving now! The KPLI Convocation Day on this fateful 29th April 2010 cemented my profession as one of the government civilian; that is as a full-fledged teacher.

A visit to my Practical School – SK Sultanah Asma. (Above) With Fairy Godmother (hahaha) Puan Noraini & (Below) Puan Leang. They helped me a lot during Practical stint in the school.
With my English (minor) lecturer; Puan Faridah @ Patricia Ann. I’ve learned loads of stuffs during my one whole year of KPLI. Thanks Puan! (My hair got squashed by helmet).
It was a simple but nice occasion to be remembered for the rest of my life. This is the place where I first was introduced to the Education World, its philosophy and principles. The date 12th January 2009 was still a vivid image in my mind (refer to my blog entry January 2009) and now here I am, commemorate the finale of the the Introductory Phase. The real attraction to attend the convocation is not because of the event but more towards meeting friends and lecturers! It was indeed nice to meet up KPLI friends; each one of us updated each others’ lives and some of the stories are quite bewildering.

Stage with VIPs and Nasyeed rendition by the students of IPDA.
Some of my friends are allocated in rural areas and in secluded islands where one has to charter boat to travel there approximately 4-6 hours from the mainland! And what is more, the commotion in the secluded island also seemingly challenging! Mystical forces intervenes the lives and facilities convenience are scarce. And the journey to the island itself is also challenging. If one takes the normal boat, it’ll take 4-5 hours from the mainland; if one takes the speedy boat (of the marine’s), the time taken will be lesser but one can hardly sit on the boat because the shaking force produced by movement of boat across the sea is magnitude! Either way, you’ll throw up when you board the boat.

On whole, it is a nostalgic event for me and even if I would have to take 3 days leave (Only 3 days left for this year!), it’s worthy… I guess (,”).
