Allah SWT is the Most Almighty. I am not the most pious though I am not the most rebellious. I always have Faith especially during these dark days where I have to struggle back and decide to let myself out from this Beautiful Nightmare. But it is OK. I just need time to console myself and getting ready to mingle with numerous potentials out there again! Hahahaha… Allah SWT is Most Almighty. When you lost hope, He gave you another blessing to compensate the loss. Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah. No word other than that to express my deepest feeling.
First, I’ve got a call from someone I have the most respect of during my banking years yesterday. I thought I was forgotten and was about to concoct plan to visit; but it was the reversal. It feels nice to be remembered and knowing that you have left good radiance in people’s lives although you are no more there in physical existence. I am just glad that the mutual respect transcends into great bonds. It also nice to update what were going-ons in our lives and debated through telephone! Hahahaha.
Secondly, the offer from my godsister/next-next cousin Darweena Al-Idrus to interview one of the USM Alumni member, Prof. Hatta Azad Khan who is to be featured in the upcoming USM Magazine. The journey to Puncak Perdana UITM Campus where the Faculty of Artistic & Creative Technology is situated was no easy as well. Ween and I scheduled to meet at KL Sentral because Ween’s cousin-in-law, Abg Ayie works there. We met and have brief breakfast there and then off to Shah Alam via commuter. We arrived at Shah Alam at 9.30 A.M. and were in hurry because we promised Prof. Hatta that the interview was at 10.00 A.M. With few communication and direction glitches (nearly took a wrong bus) because initially we thought that the Faculty was INSIDE the UITM main campus; we managed to charter a taxi to the secluded Puncak Perdana. And guess what, the taxi driver was a boastful-ignorant-who-tried-to-make-himself-superior! Such a pain in the ass bearing to what the guy was blabbing about. But of course as people who understand the psychology of communication, we just played along and kept him eager to talk more; as long as the guy fetched us to the destination!
What was promised to be RM25 became a journey of RM36! We suspected the taxi driver duped us by using the longer way. Anyway, we arrived at the office and were welcomed by Prof Hatta’s Personal Assistant. I was initially intimated and nervous because Ween told me that I WAS the one who are to pose questions to Prof Hatta whilst she would be busy taking pictures and simply tag along as sidekick. Nonetheless to my surprise, Prof Hatta was a very warm and approachable person and the conversation simply just gel-in with ease; coupled with Ween’s spontaneity and my not-so-much-but-fair-enough-to-churn-out-topic knowledge on films and arts, we managed to have the subtle yet intellectual conversation with Prof. Hatta. He proved to be a man full with ideas; both extraordinarily absurd yet fresh! It was also very nice of him to entertain us although the interview session was postponed for 3 times and he was admitted-and-re admitted into hospital. Given these obstacles, we were so grateful with his cooperation. He even presented us with 2 DVDs of his feature film “Wayang” as token of appreciations to us. Thanks bajillion Prof.!
We took a bus to Shah Alam Section 2 and then a taxi to Subang Airport since Ween’s flight was on 2.50 P.M. Had lunch there and then chartered taxi to Subang Jaya commuter. To KL Sentral and Putrajaya via ERL; finally arrived at Putrajaya around 4.15 P.M. Around 6.20 P.M., I pushed off to Serendah, Hulu Selangor.
Above all, it is tiring day but I am so much grateful with everything. You know; Allah SWT knows the best. You lose someone or something, He grants you someone and something else. I am also lucky that I have friends who never got fed-up asking for my well beings and try to cheer me up. I owe y’all. Bless in disguises, I say!
