Alhamdulillah, it’s already 10th August- marking the 10th day in Ramadhan 2011. Today, I’ve been issued an MC because my tonsils are starting to swell. Probably because of the unpredictable weather – sometimes it is scorching hot; sometimes it is cooling raining. I’ve also bought myself another 2 instalments of Harry Potter movies – “Harry Potter & The Order Of The Phoenix” & “Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince” for my movie marathon! But Alhamdulillah,so far my fasting is still intact and at this juncture, there is no need for me to breaking the fast! It will be very sad to not be able to fast one-whole-fully-month. I hope Allah SWT will bestow me strength!

Anyway, this Ramadhan 2011 has been so far a great one. I’ve been lavishing myself with various types of Malay cuisines and delicacies lots in Ramadhan Bazaars. Usually, I frequent the bazaar in Serendah, the one which is situated aligned along the road in front of my school. But then, I saw TV3 did some coverage on Batang Kali Ramadhan Bazaar and I was curious about it because all these while, I’ve some colleagues and pupils keep talking and suggesting me of going there. So, I say, why not? Although Serendah & Batang Kali isn’t exactly near (and not exactly far!), I guess the journey was worthy! The food there are so DELICIOUS and various type of one can find- Kedahan food, Kelantanese food, Johorean food, etc! Splendid! I love Batang Kali Ramadhan Bazaar!

For the updates; Government has recently announced that all government civilians will be given Hari Raya bonuses – half of the salary and RM500 for the pensioners! Well, although it ain’t much in comparison to my all ex-banker colleagues and privatize sector counterparts, it’s just a bless. Alhamdulillah! I mean for me, teacher in primary school; working half day (although with LOTS of clerical shenanigan stuffs!); having the ample time of sleeping in broad day light and still being paid RM2000-RM3000 per months – that is just a heaven scored! I am not complaining much. Alhamdulillah is all I can say (,”). Apparently, Government is spending nearly RM 2 BILLION for this Raya bonuses. So, just be grateful and STOP whining!
When I’ve come to think about it, it has been almost a year. Yes, Ramadhan marks the gateway of me leading peacefulness and solace in my life. It’s true that you once broken-hearted when the glasses you own shattered; but you will be amazed to know that a glistening diamond comes into your life, unexpectedly. It has been a year of blesses and blisses. I can’t even describe how fortunate, lucky and grateful I am for my life now. My darker phases has now balanced with more stable and brighter hues. Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah. (,”)
