Today is the 9th Ramadhan for the year 2012. Alhamdulillah so far, I’ve been granted a good satisfactory health to execute this Ibadah. At this juncture, I’ve yet to fail to perform Tarawikh; some of the the prayers were collectively (Jemaah) whilst some were ala solo (due to inevitable responsibility such as Night Classes & rendezvouses). Still, I do make an effort to perform as I’ve come to realize that Ramadhan is a precious moment; aspire to fill it with good deeds, Insya ALLAH.

Anyway, Kakak gave treat for Iftar at Putrajaya International Convention Centre. Personally if for me myself, I don’t really fancy buffet or whatsoever because I know I couldn’t finish all the food and I am not the type who will feast on every delicacies of the food galore. Then again, who am I to complain? It was a treat and I thanked Kakak for that. Thanks sis! The food were quite OK……. (,”)

Then, finally I had the chance to watch the anticipating “The Dark Knight Rises” a.k.a. the finale of Batman trilogy by Christopher Nolan! Well, what can I say? Despite the hype by the fans and media and the black stain due to Aurora Shooting (James Eagan Holmes with multiple firearms killing 12 people and injuring 58 people; FOR MORE, REFER to : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_Aurora_shooting), the film is just OK. The plot is brilliantly narrated and true to the narration of Nolan, the ending of certain sequences came with unexpected twists. Christian Bale exudes suaveness and air of debonair (drool? LMAO!) in that Batty suit – a great aura on par with Michael Keaton’s (George Clooney? NAY!) as well as Tom Hardy as the bulky Bane. Credit should be appraised to Hardy for his dedication to put weight for the role (and to say the extra muscles ala body builder!).
Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman. A great persona on par as Michael Keaton’s legacy!
It’s amazing how dedicated Tom Hardy to put extra pounds for the role Bane! He is indeed one of the scene-stealer in the film. I can rather say that his portrayal is one of the most prominent in the film.
As for the female characters, Anne Hathaway as Catwoman’s Selina Kyle. I have to say, physically, Hathaway looked the part as Selina. She is very beautiful her with smokey eyes and leather suits really accentuates her sexy body. BUT unfortunately, the costume was quite laughable and Hathaway herself was disappointed with the costume. If only the costume was as leatherish and tight as per Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman portrayal. But still, Hathaway as we know is a perfectionist and she did fairly well for Selina Kyle. As for Marion Cotillard as the unexpected evil schemer a.k.a. seductress Talia Al-Ghul; she did OK. But perhaps she tried to exotic-ized her already poised American English? I don’t know but yeah, as an Oscar-winning actress, she added icing to the creams.
Physically, she is stunning as Selina Kyle. Classy and sexy in innocence. But there’s something missing. Perhaps, the Cat Woman costume?
BUT, what laughable was that the moment Batman/Bruce Wayne’s so-called girlfriend, Talia Al-Ghul died, Selina Kyle a.k.a. Cat Woman smooched him passionately…. in the midst of BATTLE! LMAO! Hahhaha!
Marion Cotillard as Talia Al-Ghul.
And not to forget to recap on the Summer Olympics in London 2012! Yeah, the Games is here. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to witness it live as I was bunking at my sister’s crib (I don’t really like interfering other people’s belongings and rights when I am in their cribs, you know) BUT finally managed to catch a rerun of it unexpectedly during a rendezvous after Iftar at Awan Besar R&R (loved the catfishes!). Well, London certainly tried hard to show to the world that they also can come up with spectacular show, rivalling to what China had displayed 4 years ago in 2008! The lighting up of the Olympic Torch was spectacular! Kudos British! It has been one of my wildest dreams to witness the Opening/Closing ceremonies of Olympics Games LIVE with my own eyes. Oh, well,I can still keep dreaming. Insya ALLAH, it will come true. (,”)
The Opening Ceremony! Lighting up the Olympics Torch.
Voldermort & Mary Poppins? Ahhh..too bad I didn’t watch it! Have to wait until my Internet becomes fast-accelerated on 7th!
Last but not least is about a novel that I just purchased. Yesterday before “Dark Knight Rises”, a preview on film adaptation of popular novel by Yann Martel which is “Life Of Pi” was previewed. Directed by Ang Lee, the short stint managed to captured my attention! I was so awed and couldn’t wait to read the book. All this while, I knew the book as it is very popular and a hot-seller but never bother to read it. But instantaneously when I saw the preview, I was like “O.M.G! I really need to get my hands on that book.” So, this afternoon, just drove to Alamanda and bought myself the novel (after ages of novel-reading). Pretty excited, really!
Just bought it today! Excited!
I know I always quote that I always lead my life in style of Joie de vire; but I always cream it with Savoir Vivre (Knowledge of Life!). (,”)
