Fresh from the Motivational/ Forest-Alert Camping at Bukit Nanas & rendezvouses at KL Tower on Sunday; 15th July 2012, the school organized its annual “Majlis Makan Malam Amal” or Charity Dinner at Serendah Community Hall. It is an annual event that plays major part in generating funds for PIBG (Parents-Teachers Association); hence can be used to improve the infrastructures around the school and also to co-support few school events pertaining school-and-parents activities.
Me with Kak Sarbibie & Kak Halina. Welcoming the guests although it wasn’t my responsibility. Just killing time with the seniors.

I have to confess that I was really feeling LETHARGIC. Imagine cooping yourself in the outdoor atmosphere and then without hiatus, proceed to another official event in the school’s calendar. Still, it’s all “Saya Menurut Perintah” motto. You can’t beat that!
Waiting for food! Ustaz Shuib, me & Ustaz Redwan.
As Kak Rafidah was entrusted by Headmaster to coach the level 2 pupils for performance, she already had the kids gathered at her house to rehearse as early as 4 p.m. and got ready with all of the attires in her house (so dedicated!). In terms of transportation, she had asked my help as well as Kak Jun and Ustazah Zainab to transport the kids to Serendah Community Hall. So, I went there and fetched a few kids to the hall circa around 8.00 o’clock in the evening.

The event went well without major glitches. On whole, it wasn’t a festive one nor dull. Lukewarm and “just-nice”. No hanky-panky on protocols; all of the attendees were lavished with what we were there for : the DINNER, of course! Sumptuous “Beriyani”, muttons, curry-and-dhal and fried-with-flour-fishes; the affair was a fulfilling one. For me, it did alleviate my lethargy (to some degree).

The working routine resumed on Monday 16th July 2012 of which puffy-eyed and lethargic faces were so apparent amongst the pupils and teachers. Oh, well….”Saya Menurut Perintah”. Can you say more? LOL!
Kak Rasida. Focusing. Nonchalant about what was happening around….
On Tuesday, 17th July 2012; the school organized Flag-Waving Day (“Hari Kibarkan Bendera”) in conjunction to the upcoming Independence Month as well as “Anti-Dadah” (Anti-Drugs) Opening Ceremony. Nevertheless for all the English teachers (although I am a Science Teacher, but I do teach English), we were to take a compulsory test which was “Cambridge Placement Test” – a test designed in sync with the Government’s Policy of MBMMBI.
Puan Norazian bt Sulaiman or affectionately known as Kak Yan, our GPK Kurikulum (1) meticulously scrutinizing the questions….
For me personally, the questions are not that difficult. Of course there are the accents and tricky options of answers but everything is manageable. BUT, the problem is the TIME-CONSTRAINT! We were just given 30 minutes to complete the questions (Quite a lot!). But, oh, well…we just did what we were asked, aite? So whatever the outcome, I think I will just Tawakallah. Even if I got low mark, it’s all just for the “data pool”….. I would have to go to courses to brush up my proficiency, then. It’s like….WHATEVER… After all, Queen’s English isn’t my cup of tea… I am really a topsy-turvy, grammar-shunning, person. LMAO!
THIS was what we were battling against!
Today on Thursday 19th July 2012, I am on MC because the body and head feeling feverish. It’s all due to my Tonsilitis. Still, this year, I’ve not taken much MC although Tonsilitis-patients prone to be infected with fever, etc. Today, the school organized Pre-Ramadhan “Tahlil” & Kak Mawar treated 4 Flexible and all the teacher teaching her class “Nasi Lemak”. It’s kinda distraught thing that I couldn’t join them. But oh, well, health is more important for the upcoming Ramadhan….
