Malaysians were putting high hope for World’s No.1 Badminton Player, Datuk Lee Chong Wei to garner the first possible Olympics medal for Malaysia when he was playing against his arch-enemy, Lin Dan from China. I can’t comment much because I didn’t witness the game as I went to Terawikh Prayer in Iron Mosque but what I can conclude is that although he lost the game, but Malaysians knew he had tried his best to win the game.
Eyes watered. I felt almost crying seeing this picture. A Malaysian hero. You have done your best Dato’!
Among the captures circulated via Facebook. Malaysians appreciated him!
Well, silver is good, nonetheless. Well done Datuk Lee. Malaysians love you! It is so apparent that Malaysia loves and appreciate him as tonnes of Tweets and Facebook statuses praising him. MALAYSIA BOLEH!
Anyway, this afternoon; went to Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman (TAR) and also Sogo in the Old Kuala Lumpur for Raya shopping. For KLites, these places are a MUST for Raya shopping or Ramadhan rendezvouses. The ambiance of Raya is so apparent there. Seemed like street parties were everywhere and people were thronging making the atmosphere so congested!
Initially thought of not lavishing myself with Raya goodies as I have to reserve a lot of money for a bigger event next year (Insya ALLAH; I’d hope it will materialize?!) but then again, since I am no shopaholic, I say… why not? It’s a once a year occasion, no? So, I just grabbed myself a pair of earth-coloured and peaches-brownish stripes textures on it at JAKEL in Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman (TAR). With every purchases of exceeding more than RM150, you’ll be getting a free “sampin” for the Baju Melayu. That’s so cool, no?

And a second one is a perfume/fragrance for myself. Last year, I bought myself Burberry’s “The Beat”. BUT, I have left it in Queenstown, New Zealand during my vacation! There goes my perfume. So, I thought of buying myself a new one. Amongst all the par fums (Bulgari, Givenchy, Dior, etc), I am attracted to Giorgio Armani’s “Acqua Di Gio” the most. The smell isn’t that strong or too masculine BUT very striking smell. An androgynous scent; which clearly personifies my character -I mean, I am a self-confessed omega type BUT I always stand out form the crowd with my unique trait. I am comfortable with my androgynous facial feature and facade and that’s how I carry myself. I guess the Gemini aura is so apparent. Androgynous.
My Raya 2012 Body Scent! “Acqua Di Gio” by Giorgio Armani.
On whole, both Raya attire and perfume cost me few bucks (well, because I ain’t a shopaholic; that’s why the amounts so significant!) but hey, it’s once a year. (,”)
