November arrives but workload is still piling up! A day not in the school (as I was at Melaka) proved to be a hassle as Record Book for 5 Brilliant had to be settled with marks-and-grading, reviews, attendances-and-closing-the-Register-Book to be jotted down. Still, true to the token “Saya Menurut Perintah”, everything has to be done regardless whatsoever the reasons or rhymes. So on Thursday I dedicated myself on the Record Book (“Laporan Adab”) which is pretty traditional way actually since other schools have already been using the computer-generated result. But since the Head was adamant on the conventional way, no one can say anything.
WORK! WORK! WORK!
In between, I’ve drafted scripts for 2 of the pupils I chose as the MC for the “Year 6 Pupils End-of-Year Farewell Party”. Initially, I thought of just going spontaneous because I thought I would be emceeing the event; but later I found out that although the emceeing part was my task, but I have to TRAIN pupils to do the emceeing. So many things, so little time. So, I just drafted script and let 2 believable and convincing pupils did the emceeing – which were Aisyah Alisa & Zulhairi.

So on Friday morning, I’ve been coaching them and let them read the scripts in au naturel way (while juggling time settling Record Book) and then at 10.00 a.m, the event commenced. It was on whole, a smooth-flowing event “Year 6 Pupils End-Of-Year-Farewell Party”. Another event settled!
Sleepy in meeting? You bet!
On Saturday morning, the school organized its “End-of Year Meeting”; a long 5 hours meeting with rest interval in between. As usual, administrators have highlighted a lot of flaws and sometimes, making us thing that demerits and criticism are more visible rather than the achievements or merit accolades! Of course we know that imperfections are prone as we are merely human beings but sometimes frustrations mounting when patches of black are highlighted than the white canvas. Then again, that’s how the real world works, aite? Suck it deep and live with it inside. Normalcy, in the life of working citizens.
“Skyfall” poster. A turkey film, actually. Too bad.
Bond in a speedo? Daniel Craig exhibited his bon-bon!
Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny. The kick-ass Bond Girl.
French-Asian Berenice Lim Marlohe as Severine. Her character as Asian Bond Girl is no more than a sexcapade toy. Sorry to say.
On Saturday night, went to watch the latest James Bond flick, “Skyfall”. Well, what can I say? Sorry but I felt that this flick is a turkey and easily the most boring James Bond! Apparently, Sam Mendes is the director and we know Mendes for most of his drama and artsy masterpieces. The monologues and dialogue were dominance whereas actions were just little bit here and there. I am not the debonair casanova avid fan but I can watch it. Nonetheless, with Mendes “in-depth” dialogue, it sent soporific air watching the movie. And the plot was fragile and brittle. Bond Girls were just for the sake of “sexcapade” toys. Too cliche, too mundane. Sorry.

On Sunday morning (Yes! The professional schedule is stretched till weekend!), The Board Of Prefects & Discipline hold the annual End-Of-Year Party at KFC Bandar Baru Batang Kali. Since I am a Discipline Teacher for Year 5 (yeah, don’t be deceived by the demure childike facade! I am a nightmare!), I was invited to the event. It was a cool event.
Sir Edwin & I.
Busy week ahead as I am preparing the list of name for next year, updating register Book, managing this year’s text books, and doing rehearsal as MC for “Hari Anugerah Cemerlang” as well as squeezing time updating and checking 11 documents/books/forms inside my 5 Brilliant pupils’ respective files, etcetera…… Last week before holiday. BUSY!
Posed..and suddenly Ustaz Redwan’s hand! LOL! Haissssssh! (,”)
