Cats and babies are two cute things in the world no matter how ugly or mediocre-looking the parents are, isn’t it? I guess there’s always something intriguing about the childlike and naivete features. Well, since I don’t have a child of my own (casual speaking, isn’t it? Hahaha. Well, a fact is a fact, no?), hopefully that the cuteness of my kittens and cats will transpire to me; you know it’s like sucking or embracing the aura. Sometimes positive energy can be immersed from the beings around you; at least that’s what I believe.
Wow, I never thought kittens would be so cute? I thought usually people would edit the pictures and circulate in Internet. LMAO!
Well, as per my first entry on my cats dated 5th January 2014, I now rear cats; originally a pair given by Kak Mawar, a cat-lover colleague who has like 13 cats and she let go these two cats which I renamed them as Oscar & Duchess. Now, with Duchess given birth to 3 kittens which I secretly hope died due to cats-infancy-scenario (cruel isn’t it??? I am ashamed to say that but I did hope because I wasn’t sure whether to keep them or discard as it would be very costly to rear 5 cats! I felt like Cruella de Vil in “101 Dalmatians!”); I have grown to like the kittens and in the end I said to myself, it’s OK, I’ll keep them although this would meant that the cost will be higher (sigh!). Still, it’s not like I have babies in the house to take care, right?
Duchess with the kittens.
As hectic as my social calendar is and it will jeopardize my mobility out from Serendah; I felt it will be very CRUEL to throw them and not everyone is willing to take care of cats – after all, people say that pets especially cats pray for the well-being of their master (I don’t know if there’s any ounce of truth in that!). Hopefully, my kindness to these animals can top up my record for the AfterLife, Insya ALLAH.
Since I opt not to be a cruel and ruthless person (God, please bless my soul!), these 3 kittens are now growing up, now circa 4 weeks old. I am not a cat expertise so I can’t really tell their sexes as the genitalia are still not well-developed. So, I thought I would choose androgynous names for them.
This grey/silver-with-white-and-a-bit-of-orange tinged kitten is named as Muezza. I think the name is unique as it was said that it was the name of Prophet Muhammad SAW’s kitten. And it is also unique as well as it has certain black marks on its paws. It is also the product of the union I induced when I coaxed Duchess to seduce the Stranger Silver Persian Cat. Hahaha! Very agile and active. Male? I don’t know. Hahhaa! But very cute.
Muezza. (,”) The product Muezza which is said to be the first Halal cat food in the world is a United Kingdom-based.
This whitish-with-orange-spots kitten I named as Sagwa. Hhahahaha! I wonder if my friend Syafiq Ghause read this – he must be laughing because those good old day when he called me during USM days holidays, I would be watching the animated feature in Disney Channel called “Sagwa, The Chinese Siamese Cat”. Hahahaha! This one is active, too – much curiosity like Sagwa, the animated character.
Sagwa (,”). Inspired by the Disney Channel’s programme “Sagwa, The Chinese Siamese Cat.” Hahaha!
The youngest one which is quite the most inactive among the three is the orange/ginger coloured kitten. I named it as Crookshanks because originally the face was quite ‘flat’; just like the cat character owned by Hermione in “Harry Potter” series. Hhehee…but it is so adorable when you hold it between your palms; unlike Muezza and Sagwa! Female? I don’t know.
Crookshanks (,”). The famous cat owned by Hermione Granger!
So, there you go. Muezza, Sagwa and Crookshanks! Miaow! (,”)
