1st February 2014 was Raess Nafiz’s first birthday! Alhamdulillah, he was discharged from Hospital Al-Zahrah due to viral infection as well possible pneumonia! It was quite alarming when baby experienced that – but then it seemed that lately, it has become a norm for babies to have these as a few of my colleagues’ babies are/were experiencing these symptoms as well (Kak Sakinah & Kak Maza).
He is so cute and friendly as well. He likes to smile in comparison to Rifqi when he was a baby. Hahhaa!
Initially it was Kakak & I but Rifqi insisted to photobomb. So…. Hahahaa!
Anyway, the initial plan was to go to Bagan Lalang to celebrate but due to time-constraint, changes of plan to Ana Ikan Bakar Petai at Bandar Baru Bangi. It was my second time there. It was kinda funny because we went there for the sake of Raess’s birthday but of course the one-year old would only be eating soup; and we are the ones savouring all the delicious seafood, right? Hahhaa! But since I have already in the diet of “no-more excessive seafood-and-diet-during-night-time”, my stomach automatically rejected the amount of food exceeding the normal capacity. Became nauseated. So, the rest were Kakak, Abang Zam and Rifqi’s “rezeki”. LMAO!
Hotel Seri Malaysia Genting. True to its tagline “affordable”, it is an OK place. Don’t expect a Vavavoom luxury. It’s just an affordable place at the peak. I am OK with it. Perhaps maybe because I have nothing much to complain – except maybe for the delayed distribution of towels! LOL!
Had the spontaneous idea of heading to Genting Highlands as it is a nearby tourism attraction here in Hulu Selangor. Exploring Gohtong Jaya, which is like a township at Genting which situated a bit lower than the City of Enjoyment up on the apex. Gohtong Jaya is like a typical 80s sleepy town with old buildings and architectures. Still, sipping “teh tarik” in the refreshing cool atmosphere was somewhat therapeutic. Scouted room at Hotel Seri Malaysia Genting Highlands – which by the way not a top-notched hotel but it would do for a mere place to rest your body. We were charged approximately RM235 (probably due to last minute ‘walk-in’ as well peak period of Chinese New Year), but yeah, what the heck?!
A site visit to my Tamu Hill Park first; before ascended to Genting Highlands. My house should be a spot where one can view the apex of Genting from afar, Insya ALLAH. Yeah, weird pose, right? Perhaps I was really showing off my petite breasts! Kahkahkahkah! (,”)
Travelled to the apex via cable car (like the usual trips; I guess there’s no need to elaborate! I felt like Nazha with his fire wheels ascending up to the sky for Jade Emperor’s castle! LOL!) and just hangout up there experiencing the cool weather (and I sneezed endlessly! No resistant to cold, and I was wearing sleeveless sport shirt!). Genting, my salvation when there is no places to go. Haha! Can’t wait for my crib to be fully constructed at Tamu Hill Park, Batang Kali. Amin!
Beautiful colourful lanterns. Felt like Jade Emperor’s Heaven Palace! LMAO!
Battle of the muscles between Batman and Superman? Nice groins! Hahaha!
I am no fan, however. Hahaha!
The beautiful LED-ornament arc of a horse, symbolizing The Year of The Horse. Any stallion? *wink*
