My first 2015 entry. The London jet-lag is still felt. But Alhamdulillah today Mak told that her platelet numbers are increasing and doctor told her that the virus is all washed out from her body and is out from the dangerous zone. Nevertheless, she is still warded due to swollen palm that is mostly from the injected drip (intravenous valve). Ayah’s finger however is far from alright. The gangrene-like feature is no where near recovery and we fear if amputation is the only resort. But Ayah who happened to be a stubborn-headed refused any suggestion and is adamant to continue the medication/treatment he is accustomed to back in Kedah.
I have yet to resume my revision for the upcoming exam. Need to relax myself. Perhaps after this or tomorrow, the regime will recommence.
Resolution 1 : Travelling.
So, what are my resolutions for 2015? Not much. I have decided to continue leading the healthy lifestyle by partaking the running event as well as taking supplements; and :-
- Travelling :- In 2014; surprisingly; I’ve traveled abroad twice (Makkah & United Kingdom) given my tight financial situation as I am continuing my study in Master’s Degree in UPM which is pretty costly (imagine a credit is worth RM200!!) and I am paying with my own salary! But you know what they said – a Mother’s prayer is your Charmbracelet and there are few instants that cemented my believes that whatever I have is due to Mak’s prayers. I guess as cliche as it sounds; it is the bless or the ‘Barakah’ I’ve got. Alhamdulillah ; So in 2015; I aspire to venture a place in Middle East or Turkey? Goodness knows. Amin! ;
- Career + Master’s Degree :- Last year, I’ve been awarded Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang for my 2013 service as teacher after 5 years service & it was the pinnacle of my career highlight. This year 2015, I’ll be teaching 100% English classes so I really need to reinforce my knowledge on the arts of teaching English. I also aspire to scout for a topic for Mini Research that is universally-appeal (already have one but still need deliberation) and must try to find ways on how I could make the transition from being a Government civilian teacher into the UPM system as lecturer. I have to embrace all the loss I would experience in order to achieve a Greater Future. I think I am ready. Amin! ;
- Books – Oh, My God!! I feel so guilty!! I’ve never not finish at least a book in a year but I did in 2014!!!! I’ve started reading A. Samad Said’s “Salina” but kept put it on hold after several pages due to work commitment and Master Degree’s assignments!!! I have to make a promise to myself that I will at least try to finish A BOOK in 2015 (a must!). Amin! ;
- New Adventures – I am opened to any new adventures this year 2015. I’ll be 31 years old and hopefully the adventures that push my envelope and will enrich my mind and life. Amin!
Resolution 2 : Career + Master’s Degree soar high!
Resolution 3 : Finishing at least a book in 2015! I need to read in order to ensure the longevity of my cognitive development!
Amin. My hope for 2015 will be that it is a year of heartbeats. In travelling, in career + studies, books and new adventures ahead. Amin.
I pick my own way of life. Nobody to interfere what and how I choose to lead my life. It is my life and it is my rule.
