Some people claim themselves as the most pious, while others self-labelled themselves as rebellious. As for me, I am a combination of both but I am neither extreme. I have ambivalent qualities, which are fascinated by some; relentlessly annoying for others. My principle is simple, whatever I do or bizarre expressions or experiments I have committed, is committing or will be committing in life, the light of my Ad-Din will never fade away. That’s my Halo. That’s my Amazing Grace.
To love the Ad-Din is to revere the essences of Islam. And one of them is to respect the Messenger, Prophet Muhammad SAW. Does this mean I am self-confessing as pious? No. A far cry. I have so many flaws. But I do make effort to remember in my own little personal way, that is to write in my blog. Every year, I have make space to write piece on Prophet Muhammad SAW as a token of my little way to recognize the essence in my life.
Islam has always been the target of oppression since ages. What we regard as sacred and revered most; are the ones that non-Moslems simply LOVE to meddle. As the matter of fact, they have nothing against Islam; it’s just that they HATE, LOATH & ANNOYED with the idea that Islam is so sacred that it cannot be touched, ridiculed or meddled like any other religions in the world. Secularists hate the ideas that Moslems jump frantically with anger when essences of Islam is teased; hence, they keep ridicule Islam over and over again.
The night has come. Isya’ prayer has been called and with IKIM.fm accompanying me (since my television has already goes defunct), I feel the serenity. Miftahul Qulub recital and prayers. It’s my own little way of revering the Prophet’s birthday. Not as a “sacred soul” as he was merely human; only as a respect. You know, we never know that we are so lucky although throughout years in and years out, Moslems are persecuted and victimized. A shepherd that shepherded us, the fragile lost souls.
Definitely, Ya Hanana (We Are Lucky)! The Qasidah (lyrical poem) of “Ya Hanana” below speaks it all. Credit of the Arabic lyrics from http://www.melurhasanah.com/2012/10/lirik-dan-makna-qasidah-ya-hanana.html and the English translation is done by myself. Purely from Shahrill Ramli.
يَا هَنَانَا
How lucky are we?
ظَهَرَ الدِّينُ المُؤَيَّد بِظُهُورِالنَّبِى اَحمَد
There comes the religion we yearn, with the arrival of Prophet Ahmad
يَا هَنَانَــــــــا بِمُحَمَّد ذَلِكَ الفَضلُ مِنَ الله
How lucky are we with Muhammad (SAW), the gift from ALLAH
خُصَّ بِالسَّبعِ المَثَانِى وَحَوى لُطفَ المَعَأنِى
With the icing of as-Sab’ul Matsany (al-Fatihah), the pool of secrets for every meanings
مَالَهُ فِى الخَلقِ ثَانِى وَعَلَيهِ اَنزَلَ الله
Nothing that ever on par with the preciousness, and ALLAH descended revelations to him (Muhammad SAW)
sedap qasidah ni…… siapa nyanyi? Maksud aku yg original? penyanyi asal
May peace be upon him for Hazrat Muhammad
