Congratulation to all the Malayan tigers; the nickname affectionately dubbed for Malaysian football players! The 2nd leg of Suzuki Cup between Malaysia and Indonesia proved to shine on Malaysia’s side by winning 4-2 on aggregate. Seemed like Malaysia already realized the fact that playing on Indonesia soil meant that the other party will sure to put all the efforts all out. Therefore by securing 3-0 in the 1st leg, Malaysia was on the comfort zone but Indonesia was no team to be taken for granted with. They slicked and put pressure and scored 2 goals (one goal was ‘presented’ by Malaysian player through OWN GOAL)! With another goal in Indonesia, Malaysia cemented it’s first position in 14 years as a Suzuki Cup champion! Congrats!
Went to a 24-hours restaurant in Rawang to watch the live telecast and the atmosphere there was absolutely CRAZY in a joyful way! I love the exuberance and excitement there! It was nice to see unity all comes together and everyone anticipates and support our Motherland. That’s the kind of spirit I always endear. Patriotism is something I hold close to my blood and veins- and the subject is very sensitive to me. I love my country very much and every single events that could possibly bring the unity together makes me excited and welcome with warmth. Hopefully that this victory will open Malaysians’ eyes to start supporting the Malaysian team which has been condemned for not exhibiting good performances in comparison to our predecessor football teams. Everyone should trust our ability.
And as icing to the cake, Prime Minister announced that this Friday is a public holiday due to the victory! Will the school meeting still commences? Hahahaha! Congratulations, once again Malayan Tigers. MALAYSIA BOLEH!
Some people will find it laughable. But it’s very suffocating. Angst, frustration and regret are all swirled together. I never experience any situation where I am so angry that I can merely cry. I always hear people say that but I never experience it until now. I was so highly anticipating it but when a new revelation emerges, I just feel like been cheated, hoodwinked and duped. So angry now that I can only cry.
In the pamphlet : seemingly like a darkish-magenta, right?
Ayah was so excited and insisted and keep repeating that I should bring him along. But when I trusted the supposedly “projection of wisdom”, sadly it proves to no avail. Of course as damage control, he could say it doesn’t matter but this is my virgin investment. Of course I am freaking angry and sad. It is I who will bear it. It’s not fair for me to just blame him. It is my fault as well to not really have a direction and simply trusted his direction. But, this is my virgin investment… I don’t know what to say.
The REAL facade : It’s so PINK!!! What have I done…….sigh..Although my face is “jambu” and petite and public will definitely affiliate me with the color, I am not a pinkish-lad! Is this a destiny? *Sad*
Maybe like Kat said, I have to embrace this faulty. Who knows I am going to really love it? But for now, I already think of re-painting it. A cruel decision for it which hasn’t even arrive yet, isn’t it? And re-painting will be so ever costly; that will create unbalance in budget for “other-recreational-purposes”. All, I can say to sooth my angry heart is that be patient and wait till it comes first. Although my face is considerably “jambu”(cutesy) and pint-size petite which easily make the public affiliate the pink color with my personality, I am not a pinkish-male. That’s why I am just furious and sad. I feel like I’ve been cheated. But I have no one to blame but myself- although part of me is blaming Ayah. It’s useless to pinpointing.
An angry emotion when a supposedly Dazzling Red which seemed like a darkish-magenta in the pamphlet is a twin version of Pink. The last thing I want is for people to notice me on the road or create an uproar; but I guess I am always meant to be in the hot spotlight; scrutinize and speculated by others. *Sigh with sadness*
P/S : I know Ayah was also stunned by that and try to make damage control by buying me laksa (my favorite) to ease the disturbed feeling- which of course is so apparent on my face. Thanks Ayah; but need time to embrace it. A virgin investment.
Fresh from my Penang rendezvous, I planned to go back to Serendah earlier to get myself ready for the school’s 1st meeting for next year education calendar; but a spontaneous invitation from my brother-in-law, Abg Zam put the concocted plan on hold. Initially, planned to push off to Serendah around midday right after I collected my car license at Metrojaya Academy Precint Diplomatik but Abg Zam initiated that he got tickets for the Final Match (1st Leg) between Malaysia Vs Indonesia for Suzuki Cup. Instantaneously, I of course said YES!
We pushed off to LRT Bandar Tasik Selatan around 6.45 P.M. and only to find enormous crowd thronging and queuing up to buy the ticket passes! Phew! The train was so EVER congested with football fanatics and we literally had to be sardined inside! Some people cracked nervous jokes on the upcoming match that night and it was all a fiesta atmosphere! Arrived there and definitely I felt like in a scene of Harry Potter’s Triwizard Tournament scene! I love the exuberant mood! Performed our Maghrib prayer there but unfortunately, there was no water supply! Imagine taking ablution using mineral bottles- but everyone was being helpful passing the bottles to each other.
At 8 o’clock, we arrived at the entrance gate of Bukit Jalil Stadium and the game had just begun. Abg Zam called his friend who supposedly hold the tickets…..we waited…and waited…and waited….and waited….until the first half of the match gone!!!!! I was so tired and a bit annoyed but Abg Zam was cool. The friend couldn’t make an exit from the stadium because it was so crowded- Hmmm…. can the story be bought? I don’t know but I had to confess I was a bit disturbed and annoyed. Anyway, before the friend arrived, we somehow managed to snoop in courtesy of a lenient RELA guard! Thanks! Too late for the ticket when the friend came….but…whatever.Most important, we could see the game, aite?
Fortunately, the second half was the bit where the drama and excitement lied. Malaysian players seemed to be absorbed with home-field aura that they managed to score 3 goals! But the excitement was put on halted for a while when suddenly it was claimed that someone had “light up” a laser to the Indonesian goal-keeper who then refused to play and the whole Indonesian team boycotted for a while. The soap opera came to finale when the royalty guests (if I am not mistaken, including the Prince Mahkota of Pahang) came down from the honorary podium. We were actually stood up at the most behind seat alignment so couldn’t figure out what exactly happened.
Above all, the 1st Leg of the final was a worthy experience! But of course too early to say anything as surely Indonesia will double up effort with their sly and slick tactics. Too early to be too satisfied but kudos to the players and also Malaysians who came all the way throughout Malaysia to support the team. The unity of “Malaysia Boleh” was so apparent and I have to say, I enjoyed the game and the atmosphere!
You know, I honestly don’t like busybody. It’s an honest confession and I am sure everyone with their rationale minds will agree with me. I don’t like those with big-razor-uncouth mouths; I don’t like gossipers; I don’t like speculators; I don’t like rumors-mongers; in short, I rather not eating someone’s flesh ( slandering or ‘fitnah’ and ‘mengumpat’; if you don’t know). I like minding my own business without prying into others ; but on the contrary, some people LIKE to pry on others and then make it as a topic while marking the pupils’ exam papers or books. Sorry, but that is just not me. Talk, YES. But to slander or gossip or speculate, NO.
Why am I writing this? Apparently, a teacher-colleague (I am like: why a male could be so into these kinda ‘curiosity’ & strangers’ business?!! Irony for a MALE to react so nosy!) is so determined to know why I restrict my Facebook walls and friends and other information pertaining myself. The question was asked in a casual way and subtle but me being someone who could READ BETWEEN THE LINES, I understand the message. So, I honestly said that the reason is that I don’t want any potential “magpies” (“murai”) to scandalize or controversialize my Facebook page. Why I said that? Because my Facebook status is an honest jot-down. And, I guess they don’t get enough to simply only READ MY BLOG. They want to SEE MY FACEBOOK, THE WALL & EVERYTHING. Hungry for Shahrill Ramli, aren’t we?
It comes straightly from the mind and some people might get offended because the statuses comprise politics, religions, relationships, or anything based from my observation everyday. So in order to avoid any back-talking (but I am sure it happens NOW as we speak hahahaha), I chose to restrict my Facebook wall and other personal remarks. I’ve learned the hard lesson from the ‘drama’ with the practical kids of Sultanah Asma. So, I don’t want to repeat the same stupid thing. But it’s my prerogative to write what I want, right? MY RIGHT.
The caucasian Indian-born British colonist, Francis Light who duped Sultan Of Kedah to obtain Pearl of The Orient.
And to have someone from working place trespassing that line is a bit weird and I don’t feel comfortable. BUT, if these big-mouth “magpies” are so eager that they couldn’t sleep at night thinking on how to decipher the mystery beyond Shahrill Ramli’s Facebook, well… go ahead! It’s not like I have treasures; mysteries; or secrets. You can find any solution to have a peek at the page. It’s kinda funny actually but at the same time, it puzzles me on how people are so nosy about other people. Wow, amazing!
I could easily rejected and keep the Facebook requests on hold; but that’s not my policy. So, bear with it or just SHUT YOUR BIG MOUTHS!
Anyway, on the way back to Central Region, transited at my birthplace Penang island. Coincidentally, it was Christmas Eve. So, you can imagine that the island was so saturated with the Yuletide season atmosphere. A tropical one, no less! Hahahaha! It was very nostalgic and breathtaking moment to stroll along the Gurney Drive (with crowd thronging the alleys and some were wearing the red Santa caps!) and feasted on the delicious foods of Gurney Drive.
Not to forget the must-see Esplanade or “Padang Kota Lama” where Fort Cornwallis is situated. It was actually a fort built to protect Penang from being attacked by insurgencies and other colonials. The man behind the fort was Francis Light, a Bengal-born caucasian who had duped Sultan of Kedah to hand in the precious island as an entreport points which is actually a strategic place between Western world and Eastern world. And of course, that was the initial point of where the British colonized the Golden Chersonese; namely the Malaya Peninsular.
Enough with the historical fact (I love history; and I think those who take histories as trivial matter are just foolish oxymoronic!). Above all, it was a fantastic breakaway! (,”)
The school is going to conduct its 1st ever meeting for next year calendar in this upcoming 27th December so by hook or crook, I have to call off my Northern Holidays and getting prepare for the Central Region sooner. So before the departure, I organized a get-together reunion with my KPLI mates just to keep abreast with everyone with whats-hot-and-not in each other lives and hang out. It was a nice turn out as everyone that was invited was present (since they were the ones who I consider were quite nearby to attend!) but Anisah & Imah couldn’t make it because of time-constraint. Anyway, it was cool to meet Raymond, Nurul, Kord (always!), Salim and also Mad – who somehow got lost in the island of Langkawi! Hahahaha!
Met up at Georgetown White Cofee in Alor Star Mall and we were chatting madly and noisily like there was nobody’s business- well, at least perhaps it was me because my voice is the impeccable LOUDEST and I got so animated when I told them about my experience being attacked by a pupil’s estranged parents on the fateful 19th July 2010 (remember? Hehehee)!! Now Raymond already got married (just married) and Nurul already got engaged and Kord already owned a Pesona- everyone is moving fast to the new phases of lives! That is why life is actually so colourful and interesting although it is interwoven with bad things; sometimes the good thing with mirth really flattering, I say! We called the day off around 2.30 P.M. and yet still chattering frantically at the entrance of Georgetown White Coffee.
After that, I took off leave with Ayah who came to fetch me as we were about to go somewhere to settle “pre-stage of a mission” (went there with Kord and Salim, though). On whole, I enjoyed the reunion and kinda nice to be able to get everyone together. Hehehehe.
And, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my Christian friends, A Happy Prosperous and Merry Christmas to all of you. May you enjoy yourselves in this Yuletide season with presents, wishes and snowflakes (for those who live abroad! Hehehehe). One of my last Northern Enjoyment before departing to Central Region. And to those who celebrate it, have a merry Christmas y’all. This background music is for all of you- Mariah Carey’s classic ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You!’
I knew that Disney was in the production of making the Rapunzel fable into a 50th Disney movie circa 2005/2006 (I am Disney fanatic, so keep shut your big trap!) and knew that it was going to be a 3D but with a touch of 2D styles by the renowned Disney animator, Glen Keane. And of course as usual, Wikipedia is my No.1 source of development progress precursor albeit it is a stub and non-reliable (that are just for formal documentations and thesis, OK?).
The film took temporary titles such as “Rapunzel” and “Rapunzel Unbraided” during the production but beginning early this year (if I am not mistaken), Disney changed it into “Tangled” so that it won’t be sounding so ‘girlish’- as a marketable captor amongst the boys as well. And of course, you could expect that the media went frenzied over the news and criticize Disney as being ridiculous and stupid; although Disney denied the accusation, it was said that the change was made due to the poor box-office reception of its latest ‘Princess’-flavored movie “The Princess & The Frog”. Well, the movie wasn’t exactly a flop but since the title included “princess”, naturally the girls were easy market for the film and didn’t fair well with the opposite gender. Therefore, Disney decided to attract wider horizon of mass market by picking up an androgynous title, I say. But for countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Germany, the title is renamed as “Rapunzel : The Tangled Tale.”
Mandy Moore as Rapunzel
Well, enough with the history introduction I guess. Like I said, I am a Disney aficionado; and I am not ashamed to admit it because naturally I was born in 1984 and literally grew up during the 1990s; the Disney Renaissance era- so, if you wanna open your big wide trap to razor me, be prepare for dagger-wording y’all, hahahaha! I was really yearning and anxious to watch the film since its premiere in Malaysia but always there were something hindering the plan. Fully-booked, children thronging in the cinemas, packed schedule with car license classes, time of screenings wasn’t suitable, etc. Imagine that! So, I decided if I would not be able to watch it in Central Region, might as well just wait until I go back to the Northern Region.
Therefore yesterday after scrutinize the reliable http://www.cinemaonline.com.mywhich stated that there were 2 screenings of the movie at Jitra Mall, I made plan with Miss T (had to return her camera card memory) to watch it. Unfortunately, lo! When I arrived at the counter (the cinema refused to answer telephone calls; so honestly, why on earth would you have a dialing number???? SHIT!), the reckless-probably-after-SPM-counter girl jerked the counter screen and shook the head when I asked for the 7.30 P.M. slot without saying a word. Argh!!!!! Felt like thrusting my flip-flop into her mouth! Why didn’t the cinema people updated their online information????! Anyway, canceled the plan and had night-drink at Kopitiam near YAWATA.
Mother Gothel. She is one hilarious, quirky, unique and likable villain! Hehehee. I like her style.
But of course I have Plan B to always try to materialize my AMBITION! Kord was going to Alor Star to do some errands today so I decided to tag along with him and of course persuaded him to watch the movie although he already watched it in VCD. This was my only chance because Alor Star Mall only screens the movie in ONE SLOT which is at 11.00 A.M. So, plan around 9.15 for him to pick me up at Jitra and headed to Alor Star. And guess what? He was late and arrived and my house at 10.10 A.M. I was like honestly freaking MAD and thought obviously here goes my chance to watch it, again! But the good Pesona sped like a good horse and arrived at Alor Star Mall around 10.40 A.M.!Hehehee…
On whole, the movie exudes the old timeless magical quality that Disney masters at but of course is a far cry from the Disney movies of those from The Renaissance era such as ‘Aladdin’, ‘Mulan’, ‘Pocahontas’, ‘The Lion King’ and many more. And it seemed that the sidekick characters such as Pascal, Rapunzel’s chameleon pet and Maximus the palace horse stood out from the protagonists. Even the antagonist, Mother Gothel who kidnapped Rapunzel was so lovable, cheeky, flirty and unique in her own villainous way. I love her! But of course this doesn’t mean the protagonists are badly-portrayed.
Rapunzel, in the hand of Mandy Moore’s voice is an impeccable saccharine naive girl who yearns to discover and see her destiny; and Mandy Moore did a great job of injecting pop-feel into the usual Broadway songs penned by Alan Menken. I think this is a great medium for her to showcase and get her singing ability noticed back which has now somehow seemed forgotten. And as for Flynn Rider, the roguish bandit hero voiced by Zachary Levi– tremendous and he actually could sing!
On whole, I rate this movie 3 stars outta 5. It’s not that bad because I give the best movies with 4 outta 5. It injects ‘a feel good moment’ but was a bit draggy on the first part. Nonetheless, the Disney magic is still there. I leave this entry with the lyrics from the song “I See The Light”, a duet between Mandy Moore & Zachary Levi. This song is been nominated in the upcoming Golden Globe! I hope it wins. It’s so beautiful; penned by the maestro Alan Menken, no less! (,”)
Rapunzel: All those days Watching from the windows All those years Outside looking in All that time Never even knowing Just how blind I’ve been
Now I’m here Blinking in the starlight Now I’m here Suddenly I see Standing here It’s oh, so clear I’m where I’m meant to be
And at last, I see the light And it’s like the fog has lifted And at last, I see the light And it’s like the sky is new And it’s warm and real and bright And the world has somehow shifted All at once Everything looks different Now that I see you
Flynn: All those days Chasing down a daydream All those years Living in a blur All that time Never truly seeing Things the way they were Now she’s here Shining in the starlight Now she’s here Suddenly I know If she’s here It’s crystal clear I’m where I’m meant to go
Flynn/Rapunzel: And at last, I see the light
Flynn: And it’s like the fog has lifted
Flynn/Rapunzel: And at last, I see the light
Rapunzel: And it’s like the sky is new
Flynn/Rapunzel: And it’s warm and real and bright And the world has somehow shifted All at once Everything is different Now that I see you Now that I see you
Alright. Since its inception from 27th May 2008 (before that, I relied on Friendster blog. Courtesy to my sister who imported all the entries prior to 27th May 2008 to be included inside this blog!), the blog has garnered 70,000 views or shall I say, peeping tomcats! Hahahhaa, of course this statistical record ain’t much in comparison to other celebrated blogs but to have your platform of voice been heard and responded by friends, acquaintances or prying strangers is just enthralling.
Anyway like I mentioned before this, being in Jitra means I have quite a number of plans commencing and in pipelines revolving around friends and also close-knitted family. So, on Friday went out with Seyzool for the sumptuous Thai delicacies at somewhere near YAWATA and then whisked to Jitra Mall for movie “Chronicles Of Narnia : Voyage Of Dawn Treader”. I watched the first installment back in USM but for the second installment circa Prince Caspian, I simply watched half way in VCD and didn’t really immersed into it.
Nonetheless, the 3rd installment was an alright flick which combined ethereal great CGI effect (as usual!) and excellent performances by the talented starlets. My, the kids have all grown up! Georgie Henley who plays the role Lucy Pevensie is already budding as a young lady and Skandar Keynes as Edmund Pevensie is already hitting adult. Nonetheless, the spotlight was definitely owned by the young actor Will Poulter who played their snobbish and spoiled cousin, Eustace Scrubb! The arrogance portrayed was so eminent that we were VERY annoyed and despised the little brat but in the end, sympathized when he learned the lesson! On whole, it’s 3.2 stars outta 5!
Next, on Saturday 19th December, went to Penang Island with Miss Tina. We hit Gurney Plaza for ‘Tron : The Legacy”. It was an absolutely PURE enjoyable flick with electroluminescent elements depicted which happened to be the core design for the film setting. The movie, a so-called sequel to the 1982 film starring Jeff Bridges as the computer hacker/video-game maestro name Kevin Flynn who had created a new ‘grid’ world that changes the paradigm perception of the existing world. The new dimensional realm was co-administered by his own alter-ego named CLU but somehow it has gone bonkers and toppled the power-to-rule from Kevin. 20 years later, Sam Flynn, Kevin’s son somehow opened the secret gate-door to the world and soon discovered the truth of his yet-to-be-dead father and the phenomenal achievement. Great movie which I think deserve 3.5 stars outta 5!
We then had dinner at Khaleel which is situated at the Gurney Boulevard nearby. I have to say, it was total peaceful and serenity to savor foods on an alley along the beach. The sea breeze was so refreshing! Had the typical “Nasi Kandaq”- I was so hungry that I was willing to pass the planned seafood dinner. Hahhahaha! Then, we headed to Padang Tembak (Rifle Range) and Air Itam area because I was like so in a nostalgic mood and would LOVE to have at least a peekaboo of the place I resided for almost 22 years on the island. My, my how was things changed! The housing area opposite my primary school SK Padang Tembak where Nick’s (my ex schoolmate) place used to be was demolished into a vast parking lot! OMG! I called Marina who happened to still live around there and have a look at the old primary school. It was simply nostalgic albeit a lot of new buildings and changes are made to the school.
Went to Kampung Melayu for a night drink and caught up what’s-hot-and-not with her and then on the way back, we took the route using Jalan Sempadan or Boundary Road where my old residence is located. FRU Police Barrack y’all. The place that I used to call home ever since I could remember until my first year in university. The only thing I couldn’t do was to enter the police barrack because I had no business of entering as the place is highly guarded by policemen. I couldn’t see the football field and the marching field (which I am sure are now renovated in such ways that I couldn’t picture anymore), the playground, the old orchards, the several-tiered drain which seemed like a waterfall near my quarter at 1st floor of A Block….. the list continues. Nonetheless, without ashamed (although initially was a bit hesitated), I took picture at the welcoming plaque of FRU- with Marina as the photographer. I forgot to ask her to use flash. The picture gone blurry.
Anyway, around 10.10 P.M., we pushed off back to Jitra via Penang Bridge and the journey took us around one hour and a half with 20 minutes stop at Gurun- supper drink and safely arrived at Jitra circa 11.30 P.M. On whole, it was a nice yet congested and hectic day but to be able to thread the memory lane on the Pearl Of The Orient island; that is a gem. Priceless! (,”)
Seriously. That vermin still dare to brave the talk/messages pretending as if nothing happened and want to SEE ME?! I am like seriously “What the FUCK?!!!!”. Of course I don’t reply the messages; you know what they say, silence is the best revenge. Torturing in the most subtlest way. But then again, we are talking about VERMIN; the caste that lays lower than the scums; pretty much lowest, I reckon. I was shocked and taken by the bravado and of course is eager to slash back some of my acidic and derogatory remarks; BUT of course so far, still manage to restrain myself.
Anyway, forget the vermin, an ex; a stupid fucker. Today, I boarded the bus, AB Express from Putrajaya to Jitra, Kedah since my budget for the month is quite tight- spending more than RM2,000++ for license and some not-to-be-disclosed-yet vacation plans! Vouched with the RM50, I took the bus and MUCH to the dismay, it took approximately 10 hours to reach Jitra! Scheduled for 9.30 A.M. at Putrajaya Sentral, we then were whisked to Shah Alam transit (for other passengers to board in) for nearly 30 minutes. On the way of trailing up the hill-ish areas nearby the Perak Tunnel, the bus gone bonker! Engine couldn’t be started and imagine, you were in a double-decker bus on a steep and curvy road with jungle-ish and bushy cliffs! Suddenly, I was swirled with vertigo!
And to add matter to a worse scenario, there were a HORDE (YES! OK, a bunch!) of kids making so much noises at the back of the bus (which luckily wasn’t that near with my seat but clearly audible! I pity the Indian girl who sat behind me!) and to some extend suggesting jokingly some racial and derogatory remarks which I myself found very offensive! But guess what, the mothers were busy chatting with each other and once a while laughed together with them!! I guess they thought it was cute. MY GOD! I felt like smacking them! I believe, they have the mindset of “Ohh, they are still kids. They don’t know what they are saying.” AND what about you as adults?! Can’t you supervise and correct them???????? It was very annoying with the ‘chattering’ brats. I don’t like brats. I strongly believe in DISCIPLINE. Urgh, it was killing me!
Anyway, around 20 minutes later, the bus driver managed to resume the journey. He didn’t stop at the Perak River R&R, however and the rain was pouring cats and dogs. Everyone was hungry and at the verge of PEE. He only stopped at the small Taiping R&R for 40 minutes and then resume the journey with transits like Penang & Sungai Petani (respectively; 20 minutes) and Alor Star 30 minutes! With all the time taken, I arrived at Tanah Merah, Jitra around 6.30 P.M. Horrendous, isn’t it?
Nonetheless, what’s matter the most was that I am safe and sound. I was a little bit paranoid with the recent news pertaining clashes of express buses. Alhamdulillah, thank God I am still intact! (,”). A few plans are in the pipelines to make the Northern visit meaningful. (,”)
I was browsing the Internet to decorate my blog with Angie’s pictures when I stumbled into information pertaining my favorite novel by Ayn Rand “Atlas Shrugged”. I was flabbergasted and (dramatically) furious to find out that the film adaptation has already been filmed and the protagonist character, Dagny Taggart is portrayed by an unknown starlet! Instantaneously, I browsed through Wikipedia and lo! It is confirmed that the film will be assembled by unknown stars!! This is a suicidal attempt for marketable aspect and I have to say that I am furious to know that my favorite novel will be adapted into a film version which is likely to be a BOMB or a TURKEY in the box office! *Sigh*
Ayn Rand, the author who wrote the novel in 1957.
Dagny Taggart is a one brave woman who defy the conventional norm of the 1950s. She is the Vice-President of Taggart Transcontinental, a legacy of her family empire and whilst her brother is the Head, it is mainly of her wise decisions that navigate Taggart Transcontinental as one of supreme railway behemoths in the States. She is also is described as beautiful woman but aloof and with cold-persona. She perceives Bondage (BDSM) as a way that is captivating and sensual- not a bizarre sexual escapism like others think.
Taylor Schilling will be portraying Dagny Taggart. I am sorry, but who is she?
The manifestation of Dagny Taggart. I honestly think she suits the character! GOD!
With that descriptions; I automatically envisioned Angie as Dagny Taggart! Not only she suits with the fetish, but also the superficial qualities. In 2006, I heard Angie was “keen” to be attached to the project and Pitt was said to already obtained the right for the film adaptation but the talk was kept hang-on without any encouraging progress. I did check on the film progress every now and then but to prove to no avail….UNTIL TONIGHT! What a shocking revelation! Geez! Furthermore, all of the characters will be portrayed by non A-lister actors!
The director, Paul Johansson. Serial drama fanatics may know him from ‘One Tree Hill’. I don’t know since I don’t really watch it. Just saw the info in Wikipedia. Please don’t let us DOWN!
Will my favorite masterpiece by Ayn Rand be a BOMB or a BOX-OFFICE? Frankly speaking, I don’t know! Slated for April 2011 next year, we shall know! *Sigh!*
Yahoo! Alhamdulillah! At last, with the intense consecutive training beginning last Wednesday (1st December 2010) until today (10th December 2010), I manage to secure my driving (car) license! Hahahaha! Some people may find it laughable and trivial but for me, it’s like a big deal since I now have an addition to my motorcycle license. Furthermore, I have to say it feels good to prove to others and especially myself that I could nail it! And I am not going to lie. I was nervous but the anxiety is cooled down when I “tawakal” (give it all) to Allah SWT. I’ve done my best to make it work and if it isn’t mine, then it isn’t. The thought cooled me down and I always believe that spiritual element is a major support in whatever we do. Embroidered with interval singing to Katy Perry’s latest single “Firework” (which really fires me up; motivational!) and Istighfar- I manage to NAIL it! (,”)
I did take motorcycle and car licenses back in 2007 before I enrolled myself in the bank. But due to outburst of provocation by the car instructor which led me retaliated in angry-volcanic manner, I stopped going for the car license classes; and got demotivated by the rude and insolent mouth of a typical Northern “kampung” instructor (you know Northern people; the words are seemingly harsh and very acidic!). Nonetheless, it’s a different atmosphere with Abang Sha‘s classes (he took it under the franchise of Metro Driving Academy). With the circuit track located at Pulau Meranti which happened to be SO NEAR with Muzem’s school, the approaches applied is very professional-like; stern yet lay-back. Maybe it’s because of Abang Sha’s former professional experience as an ex-auditor and insurance agent demanded him to be presentable and likable. Either way, the charms work because all of his students are comfortable and absorbed what he taught.
Like I said, he was an auditor and that means he was particular and a perfectionist. He had counted every angles of the turns and points. Moral of the story; just follow the Guru and not to be a stupid peacock although you already knew how to drive because it’s all about articulate schematic moves; not about either you have experience driving or not! Alhamdulillah, within 10 days, I already secure license; an additional testimonial for Abg Sha’s Metro Driving Academy located at Precint Diplomatik! (Hehehehe).
Anyway, on 8th December 2010, my nephew Rifqi Naufal celebrated his 4 years old birthday. The little tyke has becomes so talkative and cheekier these days! We had a close-knitted dinner at a Chinese-Moslem Restaurant called “Mohd Chan Abdullah” at Bandar Baru Bangi. With sumptuous delicacies like steamed fish, stuffed yam with seafood, assorted vegetables “Loh Hon Zai” & salted squids, we enjoyed ourselves immensely and I have to say that lately, I am enjoying foods and life! I love to eat. Alhamdulillah hehehee.
Above all, it’s just so happening and wonderful and blessed days. Alhamdulillah. That’s all I can say. (,”)
